1.
Our #1 recommendation is CRA’s My Payment portal:
https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/e-services/payment-save-time-pay-online.html
We
recommend this method since it uses bank-level security, your account is credited the same day
you make the payment (if you use your debit card), and you can make payments for all three
account types: personal, corporate, and trust. Your debit card’s daily transfer limit will
apply.
2. You can use your bank’s online payment service. However, since each bank has a unique setup, you might need to contact your bank for instructions on how to use this feature. CRA credits payments to your account the same day it is processed by your bank, but be aware that your bank might require a day or more to process – check with your bank for processing times. You can pay your personal and corporate taxes using this service.
2. You can pay in person at your bank. You will need a remittance form, and you can pay directly from your bank account. CRA credits payments to your account the same day it is processed by your bank – check with your bank for processing times.
4. You can mail a cheque to CRA. Payments are credited to your CRA account when the cheque is received. Make the cheque payable to Receiver General for Canada and record on the memo line the year-end the payment applies to and the identification number (Social Insurance Number, Business Number, or Trust Number). Unless CRA provides a different address, use
Canada Revenue Agency
PO Box 3800 STN A
Sudbury, ON P3A 0C3
We advise you to purchase proof of delivery for mailed or couriered payments.
If none of the above payment methods are convenient for you, please see CRA’s website for other
payment options:
